Inspects, cleans, and repairs facilities, equipment, or fixtures. Observes and documents signs of wear and tear. Gathers capital expense information. Recommends repair needs to eliminate ongoing and future repairs. Determines replacement needs. Documents preventive maintenance activities. Uses heavy machinery.Manages work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractors by completing and providing required written and electronic information (for example, expense vouchers, weekly summaries, work orders, maintenance logs). Conducts price comparison of parts and travel-related costs. Orders parts and replacement equipment and tracking orders. Records purchases and usage. Submits warranty claims. Complies with Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Environmental Protection Agency regulations and guidelines. Ensures quality work is completed that complies with federal, state, and local regulations. Ensures contractors follow Walmart quality standards, safety requirements, and meet contract requirements. Identifies and reports deficiencies. Unloads and stores equipment. Transports equipment between facilities.Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports the company’s mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
