Operations Manager

Position Overview City/State: Bronx, New York. Department: MMG – School Health Admin & Ops. Work shift: Day (Mon‑Fri, 8:00AM–4:30PM). Salary: $76,000–$95,000. The Operations Manager reports to the Director of Operations and oversees daily operations at the Montefiore School Health Program (MSHP) clinics located within NYC DOE and NYS BOE public school campuses. Responsibilities Supervise Administrative Supervisors who provide on‑site support and oversee day‑to‑day operations for selected schools. Develop action plans to achieve high rates of patient care satisfaction and engage community, staff, and school stakeholders at MSHP health centers. Implement standardized processes and workflows with effective delegation and team development to ensure accessibility, quality of care, and operational excellence. Collaborate with division directors, institutional administrators, and school communities to align departmental operations with organizational objectives. Manage and supervise MSHP Operations staff, including hiring, evaluation, and discipline. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory entities, internal and external stakeholders, including DOE, DOH, and TJC. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required in a related field; master’s preferred. At least 5 years of demonstrated managerial/supervisory experience with large, interdisciplinary teams in a health‑care setting. Knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to health‑care delivery. Experience with EMR systems (EPIC preferred), workforce management, Microsoft Office Suite, and medical billing. High analytic ability to manage performance, quality improvement, financial, and human resources aspects. Outstanding organizational skills, ability to delegate, and plan for timely completion of operational objectives. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging senior leaders, division leaders, and diverse constituencies. Preferred experience setting up or managing dental and/or vision service provision. Bilingual preferred (Spanish).
