Product Data Manager

Title: Data Product Manager Strategy Lead Location: 3 Days Onsite in Plano, TX or Charlotte, NC Locals only, no relocations. Duration: 12 months Interviews are virtual About the Role- We are seeking an experienced Data Product Manager – Strategy Lead with a strong background in Banking, Payments, Treasury, or Financial Services . The ideal candidate must have deep expertise in payments data , including payment rails, clearing and settlement, cross-border payments, ISO 20022, and SWIFT MT/MX . This role will lead enterprise data strategy, governance, modernization, and data product initiatives across Payments, Deposits, Account Information, and Client Data Management . Experience with cloud migration, platform migration, re-platforming, platform modernization, or major platform upgrades is highly preferred. Required Qualifications 9+ years of experience in data strategy, data architecture, data product management, or related roles. 5+ years of experience in Banking, Payments, Treasury, or Financial Services. Minimum 5 years of experience with ISO 20022 and SWIFT MT/MX . Strong knowledge of payments data, payment rails, clearing/settlement, and cross-border payments. Experience with data governance, data quality, lineage, metadata, and master/reference data. Experience developing data strategies, roadmaps, modernization initiatives, and data product roadmaps. Strong understanding of canonical data models, APIs/data contracts, batch processing, and event-driven architecture. Experience working in regulatory and audit-driven environments, including AML, Sanctions, PSD2/Open Banking, regulatory reporting, and data retention. Proven experience managing product backlogs, use cases, epics, features, and acceptance criteria. Experience with SAFe, PI Planning, or enterprise Agile delivery.
