Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid state certification as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD) or equivalent special education endorsement
• Previous experience teaching special education at the high school level highly preferred
• Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and IEP processes
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and small-group instruction to students as outlined in their IEPs
• Develop, implement, and update instructional plans based on each student’s strengths and needs
• Collaborate regularly with general education teachers, case managers, and other support staff
• Conduct ongoing progress monitoring and maintain accurate records
• Communicate proactively with parents/guardians to share updates and address concerns
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school-wide activities

Assignment Details:

• High school setting serving students with varying learning needs
• Full-day schedule, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM
• Assignment runs from December 16 through approximately June 21
• Full-time, temporary contract ideal for educators seeking a dynamic, impactful assignment
