Job Description Responsible for researching, planning, and producing holistic experience concepts and specifications that optimize the user experience across all mediums (hardware, software, environment, etc.) for specific touch points of the complete solution. The role focuses on user insights, design direction, and improvement of existing designs, covering enhancements, new experience designs, and strategic ecosystem experience design. Job Family Definition Produce user‑centric designs that benefit both users and the business, leveraging research and data to guide design decisions. Management Level Definition Apply intermediate subject‑matter expertise to solve common technical problems, act as an informed team member, and work independently within a framework with moderate supervision. Responsibilities Analyze or design portions of user experience solutions for products and service lines based on established design principles and design strategy. Conduct user experience research, gather data, and report findings to design stakeholders. Develop and implement user experience design plans, specifications, and reusable design elements for new and existing products. Collaborate and communicate with internal and outsourced development partners on design and development. Participate as a member of project teams with other UX designers and design/development partners to deliver high‑quality user experience solutions for low to moderately complex projects, products, and services. Education and Experience Required Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Design, Human Factors Engineering, Social Sciences research, or an equivalent field. 2+ years of UX design experience. Knowledge and Skills Experience and understanding of design principles, theories, and concepts. Analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to create and implement research and data collection plans for user experience testing. Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in English and the local language. Capacity to convey user experience data, design proposals, and product specifications, and negotiate options. Impact and Scope Collaborate with peers, junior engineers, and external design partners. Typically partner with high‑level individual contributors and managers. Support projects requiring user experience development. Salary United States of America: Annual Salary USD 92,700 - 187,500 in California; 81,500 - 187,500 in Arizona, Utah, and Washington. Base salary may vary based on location, experience, education, and skill level. Variable incentives may also be offered.
