Marketing Coordinator

Buttercloth is looking for an exceptionally organized, smart, and motivated Marketing Coordinator to join our team at our Torrance headquarters. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who is ready for more responsibility, wants to learn quickly, and is looking for an opportunity to prove what they can do. You'll work directly with our Founder & CEO and be at the center of a fast-moving marketing organization, coordinating projects across our creative team and digital marketing partners. This isn't a role where you'll spend your day doing one thing. There are always multiple campaigns, creative projects, promotions, product launches, and deadlines moving at the same time. Your job is to help keep all of those pieces organized and moving forward — and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. What You'll Do Coordinate marketing projects from assignment through completion Manage timelines, priorities, deadlines, and deliverables across multiple projects simultaneously Work closely with our graphic designers to keep creative projects organized and on schedule Make sure creative assets are completed, approved, and delivered to our digital marketing teams on time Track campaigns, promotions, product launches, and creative requests Review and QC marketing assets before they go live, checking copy, offers, pricing, product details, quotes, claims, links, and other details for accuracy Follow up with internal team members and outside partners to keep projects moving Learn the Buttercloth brand, products, customers, messaging, and voice so that you can recognize when something isn't right Anticipate missing information, conflicting deadlines, and potential problems before they become problems Work directly with senior leadership on a wide variety of marketing initiatives Who We're Looking For We're less interested in a long résumé than we are in finding someone with exceptional ability, judgment, drive, and attention to detail. You'll probably love this role if you: Are extremely organized and naturally keep track of details Learn quickly and enjoy figuring things out Can juggle many moving pieces without losing track of them Have a strong sense of ownership — when something is assigned to you, people know it will get done Notice mistakes and inconsistencies other people miss Aren't afraid to follow up, ask questions, or remind people about deadlines Communicate clearly and professionally Are comfortable working directly with senior leadership Enjoy a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment where priorities sometimes change quickly Want responsibility, exposure, and an opportunity to grow rather than a narrowly defined job Some experience in marketing, project coordination, e-commerce, advertising, or a consumer brand is preferred, but we're more interested in what you're capable of than how many years you've been doing it.
