The role coordinates with partners across Wells Fargo — including Investment Banking, Treasury Management, Macro, Credit, Finance, Marketing, and Human Resources — to deliver project execution and strategic analyses that leverage financial, client profitability, and market share data. The role is core to running the day-to-day operations of the business, including client prioritization, relationship manager coverage, pipeline and deposit tracking, and analysis of sales and performance metrics.The role will collaborate with the COO team to execute on activities including but not limited to:Support Corporate Banking COOs, Group Heads, and Industry Heads on business planning, sales planning, and analysis of client, banker, and portfolio performance across coverage industriesOwn recurring reporting rhythms, including monthly and quarterly industry packages, banker scorecards, KPI reporting, and executive presentations for CIB and Wells Fargo senior managementLead pipeline management and reporting across credit, deposits, treasury management, and capital markets opportunities — tracking stage progression, conversion, and revenue realization against goalsAnalyze deposits, loan commitments, capital usage, revenue, and profitability by client, industry, and banker using internal client profitability, loan tracking, and financial reporting systemsPlay a key role in the account planning process, including client tiering, prioritization of target relationships, preparation of session materials, and tracking takeaways through to completionMaintain accuracy and integrity of relationship manager coverage assignments, client hierarchies, and CRM pipeline data, including preparation for monthly system snapshots that drive scorecards and goal reportingAnalyze performance by industry and banker leveraging internal CRM (Salesforce.com) and third-party data providers such as Dealogic and Coalition for wallet share and competitor benchmarkingPlan and lead recurring pipeline, initiative, and business review meetings, including preparation of all presentation materials and tracking of action items to closureSupport Corporate Banking and CIB-wide initiatives, projects, and process implementation, including efficiency and automation efforts in partnership with technology and artificial intelligence teamsBalance workload with peers, in the US and internationally, to deliver timely work product in the fast-paced environment of corporate and investment bankingKey skill sets needed: project management, data analysis, problem-solving skills, financial and business acumen, ability to integrate data and financial analysis into streamlined executive-level presentations, and knowledge or ability to learn CRM, BI, and internal financial reporting systemsRequired Qualifications:4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:Experience across Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Strategic Planning, Financial Analysis, or AnalyticsKnowledge and understanding of Corporate & Investment Banking, including credit, treasury management, and capital markets productsAnalytical ability to work effectively with large amounts of information, visualize, and summarizeAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required for executive presentationsAbility to manipulate large data sets (BI tools, pivot tables, Power Query, macrosExperience with customer relationship management systems (CRMs) such as Salesforce.com and market data vendors such as Dealogic, Bloomberg, FactSet, Moody’s, and S&PExperience in financial analysis including company assessment (leverage, working capital, etc.), global market awareness (currency, commodities, trading, etc.), and industry or sector dynamicsKnowledge and understanding of strategic planning and executionExperience in problem analysis, solution implementation, and change managementAbility to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and executive managementExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environmentAbility to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are importantJob Expectations:Ability to work outside of regular business hoursVisa sponsorship is not availableThis position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements.
