Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36 Hours per Week Guaranteed | Projected Start: August 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an 8-bed Labor & Delivery / LDRP unit in accordance with AWHONN staffing standards
• Monitor and assess laboring patients using intermediate fetal monitoring techniques
• Care for gynecological patients in addition to obstetric patients as unit census requires
• Document all patient care accurately and in a timely manner using Cerner EHR
• Float as helping hands to support adjacent unit needs as directed
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes for the maternal-newborn population

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (or higher)
• Proficiency with Cerner EHR
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum) setting
• Comfortable caring for GYN patient populations in addition to obstetric patients
• Easygoing, committed, and positive professional demeanor with strong team collaboration skills
