Cooking & Food Event Volunteer
Reach For Resources Inc
Help participants feel included while learning basic cooking skills and enjoying meals together! Volunteers will provide encouragement, assist with food prep, and foster a welcoming atmosphere.
Events Covered:
- Let’s Get Cooking 1 & 2 (Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup, Chicken Noodle Soup)
- WNS 2: Cooking – Pizza Bagels & Chips
- Bingo & Pizza Nights
- Superbowl Tailgate
Responsibilities:
- Support participants during cooking activities.
- Encourage social interaction and inclusion.
- Help serve food and clean up afterward.

- Let's Get Cooking 2 (Chicken Noodle Soup): Thursday, February 26, 2026 from 5:45-7:45 PM at Robbinsdale Cooper High School
- Cooking – Pizza Bagels & Chips: Wednesday, January 28, 2026 from 5:15-7:15 PM at Robbinsdale Cooper High School
- Bingo & Pizza Night 1: Tuesday, January 13, 2026 from 5:45-8:00 PM at St. Louis Park Rec Center
- Bingo & Pizza Night 2: Thursday, March 5, 2026 from 5:45-8:00 PM at Brooklyn Park Community Activity Center
- Superbowl Tailgate: Thursday, February 5, 2026 from 4:45-6:45 PM at St. Louis Park Library
Skills Needed:
Comfortable in a kitchen setting, friendly, and inclusive. Please note that all volunteer opportunities do require completion of our online training.
