Onsite Event Volunteer - Family Fun Zone

Volunteer with the Family Fun Team at Taste of Minnesota!

Looking for a fun way to celebrate the holiday while being part of one of Minnesota’s favorite summer festivals? Taste of Minnesota is seeking upbeat, friendly volunteers to help support the Family Fun Area in downtown Minneapolis on July 3 + 4!

Volunteers will help create a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere by answering simple guest questions, assisting with activity participation, and helping facilitate smooth guest experiences throughout the space. Duties may include line management for popular attractions like the daily Puppy Party, helping direct guests through activities, and supporting festival staff as needed.

We’re looking for individuals who are comfortable being on their feet for extended periods of time and enjoy interacting with a wide variety of people in a fast-paced, energetic environment.

Volunteer Shift Options

Friday, July 3 — 3:00 PM–10:00 PM
Saturday, July 4 — Shift 1: 11:00 AM–4:30 PM
Saturday, July 4 — Shift 2: 4:00 PM–10:00 PM

Location

Downtown Minneapolis along Nicollet Mall between Washington Ave and 4th Street.
