This is an exciting opportunity to join our diverse team in the following role. If you are interested in joining our team, apply today.
About this Role:
The Information Officer II – Immigrant Health Communications leads statewide communications and media response on Medi-Cal program changes affecting immigrant communities, including the transition of members with unsatisfactory immigration status (UIS) from managed care to the Medi-Cal fee-for-service delivery system. The IO II develops comprehensive strategies, produces plain-language, culturally responsive materials, and serves as the primary spokesperson and point of contact for media inquiries, proactive announcements, and strategic messaging on the fee-for-service transition and immigrant health issues. The IO II partners with DHCS leadership, Coverage Ambassadors, community organizations, and vendors to ensure clear, accurate, and timely information reaches members, providers, and stakeholders in multiple languages.
