What You'll Do as a CNC Machinist: Set up and operate CNC machinery for production Write, read, edit, and troubleshoot CNC programs Obtain materials and components using BOMs and engineering drawings Fabricate and assemble products according to specifications Operate CNC laser cutting equipment safely and efficiently Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to inspect finished parts Perform material handling and move parts throughout production Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Assist with additional production tasks as assigned by supervisors Skills and Experience Technical school training or equivalent machining experience Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings, blueprints, and product specifications Experience setting up and programming CNC equipment Strong understanding of precision measuring instrument Good math, reading, and communication skills Ability to accurately read, count, verify, and record measurements Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. independently and heavier materials with assistance Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift Minimum 1 year of CNC machining experience (3+ years preferred) Preferred Equipment Experience: CNC Vertical Mill (HAAS) Press Brake (ACCURPRESS) CNC Lathe (Dual Spindle) Waterjet (OMAX) Milling Machine (Bridgeport) Saws (Band, Horizontal, SOCO) Benefits Weekly pay $5 prescription drugs $5 doctor's visit copays Free teledoctor service Free counseling services Life insurance included Vision insurance included Dental insurance included Vacation and holiday pay Scholarship Opportunities 401(k) retirement plan Free legal services Our unbeatable employee discount program Apply now with ?nin Staffing Kernersvilleyour next opportunity is just a click away!
