Description

• Deliver individualized speech therapy that targets various aspects of communication, language skills, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing functions.
• Work in tandem with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and families to craft integrated care plans.
• Provide educational support to patients and their families, empowering them to continue progress beyond clinical appointments.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless transitions throughout the care continuum.
• Keep precise and timely documentation consistent with relevant regulations and organizational standards.
• Stay at the forefront of the field through ongoing education and professional collaboration.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), pending ASHA certification.

Certifications

• Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
