The Commercial Loan Coordinator is organized and driven with some commercial lending exposure and sincere interest in deepening their knowledge in the industry. The Commercial Loan Coordinator is a unique opportunity to learn more about commercial lending and have opportunity within the organization. The Commercial Loan Coordinator is responsible for supporting a Commercial Loan Officer in operational, administrative, and customer communication areas. The role is a key contact person to the Commercial Lender’s borrowers, providing excellent member support. They work directly with a Commercial Loan Officer (CLO) and assist in the management of a CLO’s loan portfolio, pipeline, and partnership with internal departments in order to create an exceptional experience for our members. Essential Functions include:

Provides critical loan origination support to the commercial lender by answering telephone calls, responding to emails, requesting documentation, scheduling, and responding to other inquiries in a timely fashion. Facilitates open communication and loan document coordination between Commercial Loan Officer, borrowers, internal departments (Credit Risk, Commercial Operations, Legal, Retail, etc.), outside vendors and others. Supports the Commercial Loan Officer from the initial application processing through closing and booking the loan, including renewals, extensions and modifications along with ongoing support for borrower needs. Compiles and reviews commercial loan requests by gathering financial information and completing credit applications as needed. Anticipates lender and operational needs and timelines to ensure successful loan closings. Reports to:

This role does not have supervisory responsibility. Required Skills, Education and Experience:

High School Diploma, or equivalent Three (3)+ years of relevant financial lending experience. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel and other various PC applications. Ability to apply logical or critical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, anticipate needs, and draw conclusions. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and multi-task. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with others in a clear, thorough, and timely manner Competence with fair lending practices, regulations, and requirements. Demonstrate a high level of organization, ability to prioritize and multi-task with attention to detail and accuracy, manage multiple projects, demonstrate self-motivation and ability to follow through with tasks. Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience

Commercial lending experience Strong working knowledge with common commercial loan structures and commercial loan documents Previous experience supporting construction lending Bachelor's degree in related discipline Experience and knowledge of Abrigo and Symitar-Episys bank operating systems Additional compliance training is desirable Work Environment:

The person hired into this position will likely earn between

$49,158.88 and $61,448.60

annual salary, plus annual bonus. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.
