Labcorp – Phlebotomist (Bangor, ME) Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions, helping healthcare providers, researchers, and patients advance care. Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist to join our team in Bangor, Maine. Work Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with a 30‑minute lunch break. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other clinical requirements. Enter patient information accurately and promptly into the system. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed. Travel to additional sites when required. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification, completion of a training program, or at least 6 months of experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications Prior Labcorp experience. At least 1 year of experience as a phlebotomist. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification must come from an accredited agency. Proven track record of exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working with minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Pay Pay Range: $18.00 – $26.00 per hour. Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
