CNC Machinist Responsibilities SEPCO CNC Machinists are responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC equipment while maintaining strict safety and quality standards. This role involves interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, machining specifications, and precision measurements to manufacture components accurately and efficiently. CNC machine setup and operation Programming at the machine controls Reading blueprints and engineering drawings Precision measuring using calipers, micrometers, and gauges Adjusting tooling, feeds, and speeds Monitoring machine performance and troubleshooting issues Maintaining coolant systems and machining equipment Performing some manual machining operations when required Candidates should be comfortable working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. CNC Machinist Qualifications Qualified applicants should have experience working with CNC machinery and strong mechanical aptitude. Programming experience is required.
