Senior Director of Operations

Director Of OperationsOur client, a growing product marketing company, is seeking a Director of Operations to help bring its strong departments together and ensure teams work efficiently toward shared goals.This role will help prioritize workflows, improve communication and handoffs, and create greater alignment across departments. The ideal candidate is an organized, approachable leader who can make thoughtful decisions, manage competing priorities, and build strong relationships across teams. This is a hands on management role with meaningful cross functional responsibility and the potential to grow into a broader operations leadership position.Responsibilities:Oversee coordination between marketing, sales, product, creative, production, fulfillment, and other core departments.Establish clear priorities, timelines, responsibilities, and handoffs across teams.Ensure departments are aligned and working toward shared company goals.Identify operational challenges and resolve issues before they impact deadlines or launches.Help leadership determine priorities and sequence work across campaigns, products, production, inventory, and fulfillment.Manage competing resources, deadlines, and priorities while making thoughtful tradeoffs.Hold teams accountable to commitments while maintaining a positive and collaborative environment.Build relationships across departments and understand how each team operates before making changes.Improve processes where work is duplicated, delayed, or unclear without disrupting departments that are already performing well.Monitor launches, campaigns, and production cycles to ensure quality and deadlines are met.Provide leadership with clear visibility into progress, risks, and decisions that need to be made.Qualifications:Proven experience leading cross functional operations across multiple departments.Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.Experience bringing independent teams together around shared goals and timelines.Strong judgment and the ability to make clear, thoughtful decisions when teams have competing needs.Effective communicator who can work comfortably with department leaders, senior management, and other stakeholders.Firm, fair, and approachable leadership style.Comfortable holding teams and senior stakeholders accountable once decisions are made.Consumer products, marketing, or e-commerce experience is a plus, but not required.Experience managing both people and processes in a growing organization.Clear ownership and accountability across major departmental handoffs.A shared view of priorities and timelines across the organization.Fewer conflicts and delays between departments.Smoother launches and production cycles with fewer last minute issues.Strong relationships with department leaders and a more connected, efficient organization.Reports to: Founder/CEOPartners with: Department Leads
