Description:Blueline Security Services is seeking dedicated, professional, and licensed (or have the ability to be licensed) Security Officers/ Guards in DC Maryland and Virginia. These positions cover a wide range of posts and duties to include; property protection, theft deterrence, observing/ reporting in apartment complexes, retail stores, mailing facilities, and many more.With over 75 years of law enforcement experience, our leadership team is well-equipped to handle the complexities of modern security needs. Join us at Blueline Security Services, where your skills and dedication will contribute to creating safer spaces for all.Shift Info:Location: Annapolis MDPay Rate: $23 / Hour.Shifts: 3pm-3amDays: Monday - ThursdayPositions Available: One Position AvailableDuties:Observe and report to deter unwanted behavior.Patrol as part of a team in a security vehicle.Make and keep detailed notes of events throughout the shift.Contact Emergency Services in an emergency situation.Address client staff's security needs.Work alongside a dispatch center and execute dispatch orders.We're looking for individuals to join our team who are professional, reliable, and adaptable. No prior experience is required, as we will provide all the necessary training.Basic Requirements:You must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or at least 5 years of verifiable work experience.You must be at least 18 years of age (21 for armed positions).You must obtain a MD Security Guard License.You must obtain a MD Wear and Carry Permit.Core Skills:We're looking for people with strong verbal and written communication skills who are comfortable interacting with the public. You should be an active listener with excellent problem-solving skills, able to quickly and accurately assess and evaluate any situation. Excellent conflict resolution skills and a tactful approach are also essential.Additionally, you should be comfortable operating radio, telephone equipment, and console monitors. Strong attention to detail and the ability to write clearly and accurately are also essential.Conditions of Employment:All applicants must be willing to undergo a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all applicable laws.A valid driver's license may be required for positions that involve operating a company or customer-owned vehicle.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.BenefitsHealth, dental, and vision plans for full-time employees.Paid time off.
