Registered Nurse (RN) Opportunity at Westhaven

Westhaven, a senior care community managed by Cassia, is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our dedicated care team. As a Registered Nurse (RN) at Westhaven, you'll provide hands-on nursing care, administer medications and treatments, monitor resident health and support individualized care plans alongside a skilled clinical team. The ideal candidate is a skilled and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) who thrives in a team-oriented environment and is committed to enhancing the lives of older adults.

Position Type: Full-Time working varying hours including every other weekend and every other holiday.

Shifts Available:

• Days: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm
• Evenings: 2:00 pm 10:00 pm
• Nights: 10:00 pm - 6:00 am

Location: 112 W 4th St, Boone, IA 50036

Bonus: Full-Time $5,000

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities:

• Display a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Work to coordinate, oversee, and provide resident-related care.
• Administer medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitor for effectiveness/response.
• Manage medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Document care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
• Notify Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and take follow up action as necessary.

Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements:

• Must have a current Iowa RN license and be in good standing.
• Must have CPR certification or willing to obtain.
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred.
• Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with a desire to be a part of a team.
