Veterinary ReceptionistReceptionistBay Ridge Animal Hospital and Annapolis Cat Hospital are hiring a full-time Front-Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our veterinary clients, playing a crucial role in setting the tone for their visit. Two early shifts (8:00 AM–6:00 PM), two late shifts (10:00 AM–8:00 PM), and rotating Saturday mornings. Occasional shifts from 8 am to 8 pm.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet clients and their pets, complete the appointment sign-in process, confirm appointment details, and escort clients to exam rooms.Ensure accurate service and product sales accounting, handle payments, process credit/debit cards, and schedule future appointments.Answer client calls for appointments, hospital inquiries, medication refills, and other requests. Make outbound calls for appointment reminders and follow-ups.Understand common vaccination protocols, basic lab tests, common diseases, veterinary terminology, and pet behavior.Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization to ensure a positive client experience.QualificationsPrevious experience as a veterinary receptionist is required.Strong organizational and multitasking skillsAbility to maintain a calm, professional, and positive demeanorAbout Bay Ridge Animal Hospital and Annapolis Cat PracticeAt Bay Ridge Animal Hospital, we hold ourselves to a higher standard of veterinary care.
