Staff Accountant

Florida Marine Tanks, a division of Patrick Industries, located in North Carolina, is hiring an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team. You will perform accounting activities for a company that manufactures fuel, water, oil, and holding tanks supporting the marine industry. Responsibilities Maintain vendor records and resolve invoice discrepancies Data entry for department Generate sales orders and work orders Invoice sales orders to customers Close work orders Account/inventory reconciliations, including inventory in transit Review vendor statements Match and file purchase orders, receiving documents, and vendor invoices (3-way matching) Monitor customer accounts and aging reports; apply customer payments and reconcile customer accounts Research and resolve customer billing discrepancies Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and internal controls Qualifications Minimum 2 years’ accounting or finance experience or equivalent degree Cost accounting experience Manufacturing accounting experience Proficiency in Excel Strong organizational and attention to detail skills Experience with ERP systems High level of personal integrity (self-esteem, confidence, honesty, respect) Strong accountability and follow-through skills Flexibility and foresight to balance engagement and business needs Dynamic personality; ability to work and communicate effectively with all team members Excellent written and verbal communication skills; clear, concise, professional Self-motivated with ability to prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines and work independently with little to no oversight Alignment with Patrick Industries "BETTER Together" mentality: balance, excellence, trust, teamwork, empowerment, respect Location: Henderson, North Carolina, 27537 Work arrangement: on-site Business Unit: Florida Marine Tanks Nearest major market: Raleigh Patrick is an Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr Patrick Industries, Inc.
