This position offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week and blends hands-on therapy, teletherapy sessions, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team. What we’re looking for:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Delaware (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience in school-based OT strongly preferred
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and technology
• Knowledge of developing and implementing IEPs in compliance with IDEA regulations
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Creative problem-solving and patience when working with children of varying abilities

Key responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students’ functional abilities within the school environment
• Develop individualized treatment plans and set measurable OT goals
• Deliver direct therapy via in-person and teletherapy sessions as appropriate
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success
• Provide training and resources to staff for integration of OT strategies in classrooms
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation according to state and district guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions
