Job Overview:
Express is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented assembler to join a growing company in the Kalamazoo area.
Shift:
- 1st:
- 6 am - 2 pm
- 7 am - 3 pm
- 11:30 am - 8:00 pm
- 6 am - 4:30 pm (M-Th; 4 x 10's)
Pay: $17-$19/hr
Responsibilities:
- Prepares and completes basic work orders by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
- Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
- Verifies specifications by measuring/testing completed component.
- Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
- Performs Quality checks to verify product integrity.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to regularly lift and/move and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Basic Problem Solving Abilities.
- Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
- Experience assembling electromechanical devices and/or electrical wiring/soldering skills desired.
