We ensure those we serve always stay Ahead of Ready.As a Manufacturing Test Engineer (MTE), the selected candidate will support manufacturing testing/functional checkout during the build process for a T1 build and ramp-to-rate on a franchise program within ADP. • Interact with the aircraft across multiple sub-systems throughout assembly.• Responsible for testing of all systems and sub-systems on the aircraft.• Responsible for developing new test equipment as testing requirements are updated, as well as documenting complex test procedures for use by non-technical co-workers when writing procedures.• Support the MTE Project team with the project management of test equipment and Support Equipment.Standard Job Description: Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment. Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices. Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed. Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements. Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area.
