Operations Team Manager

About the Role:

The Operations Team Manager will lead and oversee the daily activities of the operations team to ensure efficient and effective business processes across the organization. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence by implementing best practices, optimizing workflows, and managing resources to meet organizational goals. The manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop strategic initiatives that enhance productivity and customer satisfaction. They will be responsible for monitoring key performance indicators, analyzing operational data, and making informed decisions to support continuous improvement. Ultimately, the Operations Team Manager will foster a high-performing team culture that aligns with the company’s mission and values while delivering measurable business results.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management or a similar leadership role.
• Proven experience managing and developing teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of operational processes, project management, and performance metrics.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Business Administration or related discipline.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and data analytics tools.
• Previous experience managing operations within the United States market.
• Certification in project management (PMP or equivalent) or operations management.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of operations professionals to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
• Manage daily operational activities, ensuring processes are executed efficiently and in compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline workflows and resolve operational challenges.
• Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance productivity and service quality.
• Coordinate resource allocation and scheduling to meet business demands and deadlines.
• Facilitate communication within the team and across departments to ensure alignment and transparency.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging data-driven insights and industry best practices.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management on operational performance and team progress.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, safety standards, and company guidelines.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to eight (8) hours at a time
• Must be able to lift and carry approximately 50 pounds
• Must be able to perform the following tasks: walk, squat, bend, stoop, stand, listen, read, and write
