Accounting Associate - Summer Temp

Position Overview Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm The Accounting Associate provides diversified administrative duties for the department, organizing, managing, and carrying out administrative tasks. This essential onsite role requires regular onsite attendance. Responsibilities Prepare, scan and validate documents; ensuring compliance within set business guidelines. Review and process confidential and extremely time‑sensitive applications. Maintain a high degree of quality control and validation of the completed work. Ensure operating and quality standards are met based on service levels. Other Typical Tasks (May also Include) Take on additional responsibilities from the area Supervisor/Manager. Support Accounting & Finance as needed. Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings. Take notes that help execute activities that result from Accounting efforts. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent. 0 to 1 year of experience in data processing, document management, & customer engagement. Ability to operate computer workstation hardware and software. Basic to intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Base understanding of the various functions of Digi‑Key and the industry it operates in. Ability to assist with entry‑level invoice processing and data entry tasks. Physical Requirements Generally spend the workday sitting at a workstation and operating computer devices such as keyboard, mouse and screen. Generally spend the workday performing repetitive motions that involve or affect the hands, head, and other parts of the body. Compensation The starting base pay rate for this position is $19.00.
