This is an exceptional opportunity for a finance professional with a successful record of leadership and financial operations management within private clubs, nonprofit organizations, luxury hospitality, or other high-end service environments. The Director of Finance will serve as a strategic thought partner to the developer, ownership group, and executive management team. This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining the financial controls, administrative procedures, reporting systems, and internal processes necessary to support the Club's continued growth, financial strength, and operating efficiency. The successful candidate will report directly to the developer and ownership group, attend scheduled financial and operational meetings, and work closely with the Club's executive leadership and department managers. The Director of Finance will be expected to perform the position’s responsibilities with a respectful, constructive, collaborative, and energetic leadership style consistent with Shell Bay's principles and organizational objectives. Primary Responsibilities Ensuring accurate, complete, and timely financial reporting Preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Leading the annual budgeting process in collaboration with ownership, executive leadership, and department managers Monitoring departmental performance against approved budgets Preparing cash-flow projections, forecasts, and financial analyses Developing meaningful dashboards, key performance indicators, and management reports Providing ownership and executive leadership with timely financial insights and strategic recommendations Establishing and maintaining effective internal controls, policies, and financial procedures Safeguarding the Club's assets and ensuring appropriate financial accountability throughout the organization Managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, purchasing controls, and cash-management functions Overseeing payroll administration and related reporting Coordinating the annual independent third-party audit Ensuring compliance with all applicable tax, regulatory, and financial-reporting requirements Managing insurance programs, claims, renewals, and organizational risk Supporting the financial administration and oversight of construction, capital improvement, and renovation projects #J-18808-Ljbffr Troon
