Job Description This role involves performing a wide variety of mechanical or electro‑mechanical assembly operations on assemblies, sub‑assemblies, or end products. Responsibilities Perform mechanical or electro‑mechanical assembly operations on mechanical assemblies, sub‑assemblies, or end products in a repetitive nature. Follow an engineered assembly process, but may need to adjust, fit, or align parts. Use hand tools such as long‑nose pliers, screwdrivers, soldering irons, and wrenches. Maintain consistent quality and productivity levels. Use Microsoft Office programs. Identify problems and contribute to process improvements. Perform some hand soldering on electronic assemblies. Willingness to learn and work in a fast‑paced, flexible production environment. Work as part of a team and collaborate to accomplish tasks. Traverse across the production floor for the duration of the shift (up to 12 hours). Transport up to 25 lbs. Other duties as assigned. Ability to work overtime as needed. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience, or 2 years post‑secondary/associate’s degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. Preferred Skills Strong mechanical background. L3Harris product knowledge. Capability to identify problems and contribute to process improvements through the L3Harris E3 continuous improvement process. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and Bills of Material. J‑STD‑001 knowledge. Strong Customer Focus. Pay and Benefits Hourly range in New York state: $17.75 - $30.52.
