As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a registered Physical Therapist to provide essential physical therapy services according to a patient plan of care. Your role will be crucial in helping patients relieve pain, restore function, and maintain maximum performance through various therapeutic techniques.

• Provide treatment to patients as prescribed by a physician and after evaluation by a Registered Physical Therapist (RPT)
• Treat patients within the plan of care developed with the RPT using physical means such as exercise, massage, heat, and more
• Direct and aid patients in exercises, muscle re-education, gait and functional training, and activities of daily living
• Utilize equipment such as ultra-violet and infrared lamps, diathermy, and ultrasonic machines
• Observe, record, and report patient reactions and changes to the RPT
• Teach patients and caregivers self-care techniques as appropriate
• Arrange for the use of equipment available to patients through health agencies
• Complete and submit accurate clinical notes and documentation in a timely manner

Requirements:

• Associate's Degree in PTA
• Must be licensed in NH and VT
• Valid Driver's License and agency-level auto insurance
• Need 1 year experience in setting
