Job Description Architect position focusing on microservices architecture for the banking/credit card industry. Requires extensive experience in cloud, containers, data pipelines, and automation. Responsibilities Strategize and design data architecture for specific business problems, aligning with enterprise-wide standards and principles. Direct the evaluation of strategies and policies to ensure business requirements are met. Translate and communicate accurately across technical and non‑technical stakeholders, facilitating discussions within multidisciplinary teams. Perform data profiling, source/target system analysis, and present clear insights on data. Architect enterprise systems using industry‑standard design patterns, practices, and cloud strategies. Envision, architect, and design cloud‑based, high‑volume, performant solutions for the enterprise. Suggest and implement architectural, scalability, performance, and process improvements. Understand and implement Continuous Improvement (CI) and Continuous Deployment processes. Architect applications on containers, micro‑services, and API orchestration for eventual deployment on cloud. Collaborate and communicate effectively with developers, business analysts, and business stakeholders. Manage day‑to‑day challenges and communicate developmental risks with the technical team. Qualifications & Experience 12+ years of experience in architecture, design, implementation, and maintenance of Python, Microservice, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, RESTful services, Kafka, Swagger, Spark, MongoDB, Flink, Ab Initio, Docker, Kubernetes technologies. 8+ years as a Technical Architect for microservices applications. 5+ years of experience transforming credit card, payment, or banking industry systems. 5+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Modeling, MongoDB, Flink, Spark, Data Lakes, DWs, Big Data platforms, and ETL/data pipelines (streaming, batch). Experience with logging frameworks such as Splunk or ELK (ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana). Good experience in Agentic AI implementation and maximizing automation in design and implementation. Experience with Domain Specific Language (DSL) for credit card processing or banking domain. Strong test automation implementation experience.
