Human Resources Generalist

Magnum Electric is seeking an experienced Onsite HR Generalist to support operations at a large, fast-paced project in Ellendale, North Dakota. This role will serve as the onsite HR lead, supporting the workforce and project leadership team with day-to-day employee relations, onboarding, compliance, communication, and general HR support. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, professional, and comfortable working in a construction environment with a large field workforce. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary onsite HR point of contact for employees and project leadership Support employee onboarding, orientation, and new hire paperwork Assist with workforce communication, policy administration, and employee support Help manage attendance-related processes, workforce tracking, and general personnel documentation Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR documentation is handled properly Partner with project leadership on workforce planning, employee relations, and field support needs Address employee questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner Assist with policy enforcement and maintain consistency in HR practices onsite Support offboarding, employee status changes, and other HR processes as needed Help promote a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment Qualifications Previous HR experience required Prior experience in construction, industrial, or field-based environments preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality Ability to work independently while also supporting project leadership and field teams Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer-based administrative tasks Bilingual is a plus, but not required Why Join Magnum Electric Competitive hourly pay Opportunity to support a major project with a strong field leadership team Fast-paced and team-driven work environment Ability to make a direct impact on workforce support and project success #J-18808-Ljbffr Magnum Electric
