Hardware/Software Installer

Salary: $72,000 - 112,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a BA/BS degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience.

• We conduct site surveys, assess and document existing site network configurations and user needs.
• We design and optimize network topologies.
• We analyze current requirements and prepare specifications for hardware and software acquisitions.
• We develop engineering plans and site installation Technical Design Packages.
• We create hardware and software installation schedules.
• We prepare drawings that reflect configuration changes at each site.
• We compile site installation and test reports.
• We configure computers, communications devices, and peripheral equipment.
• We install network hardware and software.
• We train site personnel on the proper use of hardware and software.
• We build specialized interconnecting cables.
• We provide first-line support for service disruptions such as printer routing issues, power outages, wiring problems, and malfunctioning servers.
• We escalate unresolved issues to help speed up resolution.
