Senior Tax Manager with great growth potential for LocalRegional CPA firm

Overview Tax Manager Our client is a well established CPA firm located in Orange County with a diverse portfolio of clients in various industries including Manufacturing, Distribution, Construction/Real Estate, and Non-Profit. The firm supports a hybrid work schedule with the exception of the Busy Season (January to April) when it is required to be fully onsite. The Tax Manager will coach and mentor a small team and reports directly to the partner or director responsible for the engagement. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills, can provide direction and technical guidance to junior staff, resolves tax-related matters, and builds key relationships. Responsibilities Review and/or prepare tax returns (Corporation, Partnership, Trust, and High Net Worth Individual - HNI), delivering a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe. Build relationships and interact with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting, and tax expertise. Provide innovative tax planning and review of complex income tax returns. Manage and coordinate tax audits, tax provisions, and the tax compliance process. Improve the firm’s processes by developing or implementing best practices. Qualifications BA degree in Accounting Active CPA License 5+ years of experience in Public Accounting Experience with Corporation, Partnership, Trust, and High Net Worth Individual tax review and preparation Strong technical tax review and preparation skills Tax Audit Representation experience is a plus Tax research abilities Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize/multi-task in a fast-paced environment Ability to work with staff members from diverse accounting backgrounds Professional interaction with clients Analytical skills with attention to detail Ability to meet deadlines and solve problems Strong verbal and written communication skills Exceptional work ethic Compensation: $150,000 per year #J-18808-Ljbffr Vertical Careers, Inc.
