Airswift is seeking a Reliability Engineer to support a major chemical client in Pasadena, TX.

Location: Pasadena, TX with travel required to other plants

This opportunity supports manufacturing operations across multiple facilities, with approximately 50% onsite work at a plant in Tennessee and the remainder based remotely or from company facilities in Texas depending on business needs. The role is focused on maintenance and reliability best practices, asset care strategies, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement within an industrial environment. This position offers the chance to influence equipment reliability, availability, and maintainability across a multi-site manufacturing network.


Required Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of industrial experience in reliability engineering, maintenance engineering, or a related engineering role within a manufacturing environment
• Experience supporting equipment reliability, availability, and maintainability through structured analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
• Experience partnering with maintenance, operations, engineering, and technical teams to resolve chronic equipment and process reliability issues
• Experience analyzing equipment performance data, maintenance history, and condition monitoring results to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of maintenance and reliability best practices, including predictive and condition-based maintenance technologies, asset management, and reliability improvement methodologies
• Ability to develop, optimize, and sustain asset care strategies using Risk-Based Maintenance, Reliability-Centered Maintenance, and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis
• Ability to lead equipment failure investigations using Root Cause Analysis, 5-Why, and other structured problem-solving techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex technical issues and develop practical, data-driven solutions
• Ability to communicate effectively with plant leadership, engineering, operations, and maintenance teams
• Ability to provide technical guidance on equipment maintenance, precision maintenance practices, repair techniques, and equipment installation standards
• Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret financial and operational data and communicate the impact of reliability and maintenance decisions
• Ability to support training, coaching, knowledge sharing, and standardization of reliability processes across multiple manufacturing sites
• Ability to travel as required to support operations across multiple locations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in the chemical, petrochemical, or process industries
• Knowledge of Process Safety Management requirements and their application within a manufacturing environment
• Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional certification
