Epic Beaker Analyst

Duration: 6-9 months (option for extension)
Travel: Remote
Role Description: Health Data Movers (HDM) is looking for an experienced Beaker Analyst to support build, configuration, and optimization of Epic's Beaker (Laboratory) module for our healthcare clients, from design through go-live and post-live support.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and test lab workflows, including specimen collection, order sets, resulting, and interfaces with lab instrumentation/reference labs
- Partner with lab, pathology, and clinical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into Epic build
- Support system testing, validation, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle
- Provide go-live and at-the-elbow support, troubleshooting specimen and resulting workflow issues in real time
- Maintain build documentation and adhere to client change control processes

Required Experience
- 2+ years of experience building and supporting Epic Beaker (AP and/or CP)
- Epic Beaker certification (current or eligible for recertification)
- Experience with specimen collection, resulting workflows, and lab interface builds
- Strong communication skills for working with lab, pathology, and clinical staff
Preferred Experience
- Dual certification in Beaker AP and CP
- Additional Epic certifications (Orders, ClinDoc, Radiant, etc.)
- Prior clinical/lab background (MLS, MLT, pathology)
- Experience with multiple go-lives or multi-site rollouts
