Job Title: Escrow Officer
Location: Austin, TX (Onsite)
Overview:
Join our Client’s team as an Escrow Officer, managing the full escrow process in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Based in Austin, TX, you’ll ensure smooth closings and excellent service for our clients and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage escrow from start to finish, including preparing and reviewing closing documents per CFPB/TRID and RESPA guidelines.
- Review and verify survey, title reports, contracts, and lender documents for accuracy.
- Order necessary documents (HOA Cert, Tax Cert, Survey) and coordinate with the title department to resolve title issues.
- Conduct face-to-face closings, explain lender documents, and handle disbursement of funds.
- Record legal documents and coordinate title policy preparations.
- Maintain communication with builders, buyers, lenders, and realtors throughout transactions.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of escrow experience, preferably with builder accounts.
- Knowledge of escrow procedures, title software (SoftPro a plus), and active Notary Public.
- Detail-oriented, organized, with excellent communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; title/escrow license preferred.
