Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate restaurant operations during your shift, ensuring smooth service flow and adherence to quality standards
• Supervise and motivate team members, including training new staff and providing ongoing development opportunities
• Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling to maintain high safety and cleanliness standards
• Manage Toast POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
• Control inventory levels, monitor stock rotation, and assist with food production to minimize waste and optimize costs
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and conduct regular safety audits
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and promote a welcoming dining atmosphere
• Assist with budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and overall restaurant management to meet financial goals

Qualifications

• Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management
• Demonstrated supervisory or team leadership experience within the food industry or hospitality sector
• Familiarity with Toast POS systems ; cash handling expertise required
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and food handling procedures
• Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Strong communication skills for effective managerial oversight and staff training
• Basic math skills for inventory control, budgeting, and sales reconciliation
• Experience with restaurant management, including shift management, staff interviewing, training & development, and customer service excellence
