Program Coordinator

Program Coordinator – NYU Grossman School of Medicine We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Program Coordinator. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing basic to moderate range of program coordination, working with internal and external parties to organize the various components needed to initiate, run and complete major programs. The candidate will promote, coordinate and support the development of assigned studies, facilitate the administrative process of project activities, serve as point of contact for all study sites, monitor internal financial and data flow, and report study site needs and issues. Job Responsibilities Provide basic to moderate program coordination, including developing schedules, processing purchase requisitions, reimbursements, expense reports, and invoice payments. Participate in special programs and perform other duties as required. Organize and coordinate schedules, activities, and special events, including conference preparation and logistics. Assist in recruitment, hiring, and training of clerical staff, assistants, trainees, and volunteers for the program. Participate in grants-related activities, develop proposals, support fundraising, and manage award allocations and oversight. Gather and collect data, research problems and concerns, and assist in developing materials for training and educational sessions. Prepare and review documents, generate status reports, outline agendas, and compose memos and letters; follow grant and institutional policies. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business administration, health care administration, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook). Familiarity with internet applications. Effective oral, written, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and communicate with internal and external customers. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Strong time‑management skills and ability to work well under pressure. Ability to project/program manage and multitask while paying attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications Project or program management experience. The range excludes bonuses, differential pay, or other compensation.
