Montessori Toddler Class Lead Teacher

About This Role A Montessori preschool in Allen is seeking a Lead Teacher for the Toddler Class (18 mon - 3 years), full-time. What You’ll Do Responsibilities: Plan and implement the curriculum. Establish a record-keeping system to track the children's progress. Facilitate a respectful environment for children and adults by advocating conflict resolution. Implement grace, courtesy, and character‑building lessons. Attend all faculty meetings and scheduled staff events. Will need to pass a background check and fingerprinting and CPR/First Aid certification. Requirements Previous experience with children in an early childhood education setting. Fluent in English. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Works well with children, parents, and other staff members. Physically capable to work with children on the floor and playground, as well as to lift children, materials, classroom furniture, and clean. A strong understanding of education, child development, and positive classroom management techniques.
