Coffee Service Pros LLC. has been proudly serving the Fort Wayne area and surrounding region for over a year now! As a leading service provider for espresso machines and commercial coffee equipment in Fort Wayne, South Bend, Toledo, Southern MI, and Northern Indianapolis, Coffee Service Pros LLC is currently hiring to fill the role of Technician in the Fort Wayne & surrounding market. We are looking for an experienced espresso/coffee equipment technician but willing to train the right candidate. Candidates with prior food service equipment repair experience are encouraged to apply. The right candidate will be a self-motivated & the right individual that has a strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities:

• Repair, install, and decommission commercial beverage equipment including espresso, bean-to-cup, and drip coffee machines along with nitro cold brew systems and grinders.
• Must possess exceptional customer service skills in addition to strong mechanical aptitude, basic plumbing, and electrical knowledge and skills.
• Complete all assigned equipment installation, repair, and maintenance along with all associated documentation and paperwork.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions utilizing standard electrical test equipment such as volt/ohm meters to identify and make repairs.
• Utilize your understanding of electrical and plumbing to diagnose issues with equipment.
• Testing water quality and installing water filters for brewing equipment.
• Communicating through a paperless dispatching program and cloud based inventory system. Computer, smart phone, and iPad skills needed.
• Basic computer knowledge to conduct machine software updates.
• Drive a company vehicle in a safe manner to customer locations.
• Keep accurate inventory of vehicle and warehouse.
• Accurately report daily activities including invoices and travel time.
• Excellent verbal and written technical communication skills.
• May be requested to work overtime as business dictates.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Skills:

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, parts diagrams, hydraulic and wiring schematics.
• Proficient in electrical and plumbing systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues
• Strong customer service skills to interact with clients in a professional manner
• Prior espresso/coffee equipment or commercial food service equipment repair experience preferred.
• Preferred 1-2 years mechanical, plumbing, or electrical experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
