Clean Harbors – Class A CDL Driver (Hazmat) Clean Harbors in Seymour, CT is seeking a Class A CDL Driver (Hazmat) to operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks and work equipment at customer sites. The role includes driving and non‑driving duties associated with hazardous waste clean‑up. Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers when needed in a team atmosphere. Operate a variety of Class A trucks. Load and unload trucks. Perform manual labor on site to meet customer needs. Properly placard vehicles to meet company and DOT requirements. Maintain daily logs, timesheets, and various reports. Follow all local, state (provincial) and federal compliance regulations and rules. Operate vehicles safely in accordance with U.S. DOT and other requirements. Observe all corporate operating guidelines and procedures. Observe company environmental health and safety guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned. Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis every other week. Perform site‑remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials. Required Qualifications Valid Class A CDL. Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment. Ability to use various mobile devices. Perform physical functions as required by the job. Successfully complete a background check, drug test and physical exam (by position). Meet facial‑hair standards if respirator required by OSHA’s Respiratory Protection Standard. Preferred Qualifications Commercial driver experience. Hazmat and Tanker endorsement.
