Key Responsibilities of the RN - OR- Operating Room - Travel

• Circulate in service lines including Orthopedics, General Surgery, Urology, ENT, GI, Spine, Ophthalmology, and Podiatry
• Apply nursing knowledge and technical skills in delivering high-quality care
• Assess patient/family needs and develop individualized care plans
• Promote patient health, safety, and rights
• Educate patients and families on self-care and lifestyle changes post-discharge
• Evaluate effectiveness of nursing practice and engage in professional development

Requirements of the RN - OR- Operating Room - Travel

• Valid NYS RN Licensure
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and STROKE certifications (all through AHA/RQI)
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience
• Prior OR circulator experience
