Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Glendale, Wisconsin, United States
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team at Bayshore Nursing & Rehab, a leading provider of comprehensive healthcare services. As a Per Diem SLP, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, from infants to geriatric individuals, and make a meaningful difference in their lives.
About the Role
As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at Bayshore Nursing & Rehab, your primary responsibilities will include:
Evaluating and diagnosing patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address patients' communication and swallowing needs
Providing therapy services in a variety of settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and skilled nursing facilities
Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
Maintaining accurate and timely records of patient progress and treatment outcomes
Requirements
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
Licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Wisconsin
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and patients
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
