Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology

Schedule

Typical business hours: 7:00 AM-6:00 PM, Monday-Friday.

Assignment Details

Daily census: ~30 patients; 2 shifts of call required during contract; one weekend shift per contract noted; PRN floating may be required.

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state required.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
• Interventional Radiology experience required.
• EPIC experience preferred.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS.
• Clinical skills required include circulating and scrubbing for IR procedures, dysrhythmia recognition/management, and monitoring essential lines and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support during interventional radiology procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
• Monitor and assess patient condition before, during, and after procedures.
• Assist with the preparation and administration of medications as necessary.
• Document patient care and interventions accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Compliance / Notes

Strict credentialing and fingerprinting deadline apply; references required from two professional sources, including at least one manager or director.
