Medical Assistant

Job Description Job Description Responsibilities: * Triage approximately 50 patients per day * Chronic Care Management for approximately 120 patients * Submit prior authorization requests * Vaccine management with inventory of 200 + vaccines * Assist providers with 5+ procedures a day * Administer vaccines and therapeutic injections * Assisting approximately 50 patients per day in the check-in and check-out process * Triage approximately 50 patients per day * Answering 75 or more phone calls a day * Checking and evaluating 100+ faxes, voicemails, and emails * Collecting balances/payments Qualifications: * Certified Clinical Medical Assistant with 160 externship hours * Familiarity with CPT and CPTII codes * Strong organizations skills * Ability to thrive is a fast-paced environment * Team player PERMANENT SCHEDULE M-F 8am-5pm Company Description At First Lithonia Medical Center, we are not opposed to training the right person.
