Associate Director, Medical Science Liaison - Michigan, Indiana

Insmed seeks an Associate Director, Medical Science Liaison to build relationships with healthcare professionals and provide scientific support across three rare disease areas (PAH, IPF, PPF) in Michigan and Indiana. This field-based role connects clinical insights with the company's research and commercial strategy.
Responsibilities
- Conduct scientific exchanges with physicians and allied health professionals on disease education and product information
- Identify and develop relationships with key opinion leaders, investigators, and medical experts
- Present clinical data on Insmed products to healthcare professionals and academic institutions
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align on scientific strategy and support trial site identification
- Implement advisory boards and forums to gather HCP insights for organizational use
Requirements
- Advanced degree in life sciences (PharmD, PhD, MD, NP, or PA) plus minimum 5 years MSL experience
- Excellent English proficiency and advanced presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills including listening, negotiation, and conflict resolution
- Knowledge of PhRMA code, Sunshine Act, HIPAA, and promotional regulations
- Demonstrated ethical standards and commitment to self-improvement
- Ability to understand interface between medicine and policy in rare diseases
Compensation: $187,000-$244,000 annual
