The Sushi Chef plays a crucial role in crafting authentic and visually appealing sushi dishes, blending traditional techniques with modern culinary tools to deliver top-quality food during lunch and dinner services. Working within a small team of 1-3 chefs, the Sushi Chef reports directly to the Head Chef and the Kitchen Manager, ensuring seamless kitchen operations and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare sushi dishes using a combination of traditional and modern kitchen tools
- Ensure high standards of food presentation and aesthetic appeal
- Maintain rigorous quality control throughout sushi preparation
- Collaborate effectively within a small team of 1-3 chefs
- Support lunch and dinner service operations efficiently
- Adhere to hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in culinary arts
- Proficiency in sushi preparation techniques
- Strong knife skills
