• Administer targeted speech therapy sessions focused on various aspects like language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and families, to formulate holistic care plans.
• Educate patients and their families to enhance progress outside the clinical environment.
• Participate in sporadic inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions, ensuring seamless care transitions.
• Document timely and accurately according to established state, federal, and organizational protocols.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay informed about the latest advancements in speech-language pathology.

Education

• Obtained a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completed a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) where applicable, prior to ASHA certification.

Certifications

• Possession of state licensure as a Speech Language Therapist .
• Preferably hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of starting the position.
