Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapy procedures as per physicians' orders for neonates, infants, and pediatric patients.
• Monitor patient responses and maintain accurate medical records.
• Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to optimize patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about treatments, procedures, and safe discharge practices.
• Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of respiratory equipment.
• Participate in emergency response teams during hurricane seasons as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid RRT certification and South Carolina RCP license required.
• BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in neonatal, pediatric, and infant respiratory care.
• Proficiency in Epic charting system preferred.
• Experience in a Magnet, Teaching, Level 1 Trauma facility desired.
• First-time travelers welcome; local applicants considered on a case-by-case basis.
