Packaging Engineer

We are looking for a Packaging Engineer with experience in packaging development, validation, and testing within a regulated environment. If you have a strong background in packaging engineering and enjoy working on cross-functional projects, we'd love to hear from you. Required Experience 5–6 years of experience in Packaging Engineering, Validation Engineering, or Quality Engineering. At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in packaging testing, validation, and technical documentation. Experience in the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical industry is highly preferred. Proven experience developing and executing validation protocols. Familiarity with document control systems, engineering change processes, and quality compliance. Exposure to labeling reviews and regulatory documentation is a plus. Key Skills Strong understanding of packaging materials, packaging design, and engineering drawings. Knowledge of packaging validation and testing standards such as ISTA, ASTM, and ISO. Experience creating and executing validation plans, protocols, and test reports. Ability to manage controlled documentation and support Engineering Change Requests (ECR/ECO). Understanding of regulatory and labeling compliance requirements. Strong analytical and root cause investigation skills. Hands‑on experience with MS Excel, Minitab, CAD, and PLM/ERP systems. Excellent communication, collaboration, and project coordination abilities. Key Responsibilities Update and maintain packaging drawings based on engineering changes. Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to monitor packaging project progress. Identify packaging validation requirements and define appropriate testing strategies. Develop test protocols, perform validation activities, and document results. Prepare technical reports and route documents through the approval and document control process. Ensure packaging documentation remains accurate and compliant. Review packaging labels and supporting documentation for regulatory compliance. Provide regular project updates, timelines, and risk assessments to stakeholders. Preferred Qualities Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment. Strong problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail. Experience working closely with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, and Operations teams.
